More than 15 years of B2B history
Soon after its inception in 1996, InterTrade realized that being a Value Added Network (VAN) Tier-1 in an already mature market was not answering customer needs. The company’s founders decided to build a suite of solutions that would make it easier and more flexible to adapt to changing market conditions. Launched in 2001, the InterTrade TradeLinks B2B integration solution extended the offering to a full suite of application integration services (Provision, Transport, Transform, Manage and View) operating in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) mode. The latest version of TradeLinks now powers tens of thousands of trading relationships between suppliers, customers and business partners exchanging millions of transactions each month. InterTrade was also one of the first networks to offer AS2 brokerage service as part of its offering and has been a pioneer in transporting and/or mapping XML files over its VAN network.
Building on recent core development technologies using cluster infrastructure, InterTrade was able to face capacity increases and new market trends better than its competitors. Today, InterTrade is a leader in providing closely integrated solutions to small, medium and large customers requiring seamless interactions with trading partners.
Easy product data synchronization
In 2006, InterTrade added to its base offering by building a catalog for product data synchronization. Used by medium and large retailers, this offering allows manufacturers and distributors to share product information through a mediation tool that is easy to use and that gives manufacturers a single repository that they can manage and update at will. Both feature-rich and inexpensive, the catalog is greatly appreciated by its users.
More business value out of your B2B exchanges
Through discussions with its clients and prospects, InterTrade discovered that most companies doing B2B or EDI have limited real-time visibility on the overall business processes generating these B2B transactions. This prompted InterTrade to extend its offering and offer a whole new set of tools centered on improving supply chain visibility for line-of-business users.
The value of B2B/EDI to organizations is now much greater than simply the elimination of manual processes. The new Comprehend offering from InterTrade aims at leveraging the existing B2B infrastructure to extract key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide decision makers with the real-time information needed to optimize their supply chain. Get much more value out of your current B2B transactions!
