InterTrade acquires Active Catalog from GXS
June 4, 2010, InterTrade announced that it has completed the acquisition of all Active Catalog assets from GXS. With this acquisition, InterTrade becomes the second largest catalogue service provider for apparel and footwear in North America.
Both GXS and InterTrade have agreed to make sure the transition is as seamless as possible for customers. GXS will continue to support existing users of Active Catalog for the duration of the transition period so there is no immediate impact to them.
With this second acquisition, after the EDGE family of products in October 2009, InterTrade will be able to strengthen its position as a leading B2B / EDI integration service provider, which will benefit its more than 3,000 customers.
